Weekly Highlights - January 29

Biztown Interviews - Monday at 1 o'clock.  Make sure they practice the questions.  They took home the questions and the evaluation form on Friday.  Dress in your best!  Girls- skirts and dresses.  Boys - Dress shirts, ties optional.

Biztown Trip - February 10th.  Volunteers should have already been contacted by Jill St. Clair.  More info will follow.  At this time, we have enough 5th grade parents.  Fourth grade parents will be on a waiting list, since this is a fifth grade activity.

Jog-a-Thon - Friday at 10:30.  Please, sponsor this event.  Our PTA is the best.

American Revolution Reports - FIFTH GRADE only.... Be sure to check out the American Revolution link on this Webpage.  There are over 10 different Powerpoints and games on the American Revolution.

Chinese New Year - Fourth grade

New Homework Formula - 20 (math) 20 (writing) 20 (report)

First in Math - This is an exciting new program to motivate students to play games and practice math skills.  You were given a sheet with directions and a password in last Friday's envelope.  Our class  learned the procedure on Tuesday in the Computer Lab. PLAYER of the DAY will have a special day or rewards: may bring in a drink other than water (gatorade, juice), free bathroom breaks, take their shoes off in class, and wear hats during class.  Should be fun.  Check it out!

Team of the Week - YEAH..The Lucky Hill...Our class earned more stickers than any other class.  Mr. Boyle presented a certificate to us on the Thursday Broadcast.  Let's do it again this week!!!!!

Dirt Cups- Thank you Claire, Marian, and Tatum for donating the pudding, worms, and Oreo cookies...Mmmmm..so good.

Class Basket - We are making a basket for February's PTA Sock Hop.  Please sign and return the bottom of the flyer.  We have a Pizza Maker and will be asking for donations.

Giving Tree - Candy bars ( I have been using this reward for the envelopes..4 weeks of 0 late and green earns a candy bar!  Boy, has that been working!). Prizes for Friday raffle.. 

 Support the Troops -One Friday collection day left!   Donations on granola bars(any type). Individual bags M&M's, Skittles (2.0 - 3.5 oz size), gum, chapstick, Tootsie Rolls pops.

Fifth Grade Only:

Activity Fee due February 3rd.

Biztown Volunteers We have 31 volunteers.  We do have room for 8 more, so if you didn't sign up, you can still send in your form or contact me.
