Seventh Grade English Mrs. Mac - Room 504 Welcome Students, I am excited to meet all you this coming Monday, August 22! I hope you are excited as well. Here are a few thoughts I have about our school year. It revolves around, of course, vocabulary. EXPECTATIONS: Expect to do well. Expect to succeed. Expect to mature in being responsible, respectful and receptive. ENJOY: I enjoy teaching. In order to do that I have to work hard and be involved in what I teach. You should enjoy learning and if you become involved you will enjoy laughing, discussing, reading and writing, listening and observing, and yes, learning. ENVISION: Your education will change your life. Learn to envision your education as that will open up your life to the possibilities of what you can be. If you can envision you can stay focused even when the learning is difficult, boring, challenging, interesting. I want to share this vision with you and teach you to learn and to think like you have never thought before. ENABLE: To enable success in English this year, follow directions, follow rules, come prepared and work hard. ENACT: The only thing left is to put into action our very best intentions, choices and our own expectaions. Enact your learning and this year will be your most successful REMEMBER, YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF THE CHOICES YOU MAKE. Welcome to Seventh Grade English in Room 504. It's going to be a great year!
